The Food Pyramid?

Did your mother advise you about basic nutrition when you were growing up? Perhaps that was the best advice you have ever received and you didn’t even know it. She probably pointed out that you must eat vegetables, especially the green ones. If she was like most moms, she also limited sugary drinks, treats and other junk, but didn’t totally eliminate it. That would be heartless! Everyone deserves a special treat on occasion.

Most of the time, though, Mom probably tried to provide a balanced offering of different food groups from the good old food pyramid throughout the day.

Well, dear old Mom was on the right track after all. Following your mom’s advice is a smart way to go to achieve maximum fat burning and a lean healthy body for the rest of your life.

The Basics of a Fat Loss System That Works

You see, your body naturally craves foods rich in nutrients (antioxidants, phyto nutrients, fiber, vitamins, minerals, etc.) When you fail to provide what it wants, you are still hungry no matter what you stuff in your mouth. Haven’t you experienced that? I certainly have.

But, when you eat most of your meals from foods rich in important nutrients, you will be satisfied and overeating won’t be much of a problem. It is similar to operating your car. It performs well when you give it all the nutrients (gas, oil) it needs. It performs best when you give it superior, high octane gasoline and premium oil.
